Tim Ryan is a former U.S. Representative from Ohio who served from 2003 to 2023. Representing Ohio's 13th congressional district after redistricting in 2013, Ryan was known for his dedication to economic development and revitalization in Northeast Ohio.

During his tenure, he played a significant role in securing over $1 billion in federal funding for the region, helping to establish major projects like two natural gas powerplants, the North American Electric Vehicle Hub by Foxconn, and the Ultima Battery Plant​. 

Ryan was also an advocate for various progressive policies.

He supported the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which aimed to address climate change through a $369 billion investment in energy security and clean energy initiatives​. Throughout his career, he served on multiple influential committees, including the House Appropriations Committee, where he chaired the Subcommittee on the Legislative Branch​. 

Following his congressional career, Ryan joined Zoetic Global as Chief Global Business Development Officer. In this role, he focuses on promoting critical energy, water, and food technologies globally. His work at Zoetic Global involves advancing innovative solutions such as energy efficiency technologies and supporting the development of carbon credit headquarters in Columbus.
