How did serving in the military help prepare you for a job in the clean energy industry?
I learned to work in a widely diverse and amazing group of individuals, teaching me how to properly consider current social environment compared to their background. Also learned an engrained sense of safety and procedures.
What advice do you have for veterans exploring a job in the clean power industry?
This was the easiest and most sensible choice. The comradery will make you feel right at home/military!
What advice do you have for companies looking to hire veterans?
The work ethic learned in the military is hard to pass by. Most of us are sticklers for process, as well as well versed in process improvements, constantly looking at ways to make procedures more safe and efficient.
